Description

This perennial grass-like plant grows as a spreading clump of very thin, right green leaves to a height of 1'. Its tiny round seed heads dot the end of each leaf-like fertile stem. The plant does great in containers and will tolerate wet soils. It should receive sun to part shade with average watering. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Water Saving Tip:

Consider replacing some lawn areas with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.

Good candidates for removal are portions of large lawns, areas where no one uses the grass, patches that don't grow well, or spaces too small to water without overspray.
